The Dresser's Lunch Cocktail

A not sweet refreshing cocktail of grapefruit, gin, and orange, balanced with dry vermouth.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 oz grapefruit juice
  • 1 1/2 oz dry gin
  • 1/2 oz Grand Marnier
  • 1/2 oz dry vermouth

grapefruit peel for garnish, white pith removed. I used a vegetable peeler.

Instructions

  1. Chill a 6-8 oz martini or coup glass. 

  2. Add all of the ingredients except for the grapefruit peel in a cocktail shaker. 

  3. Fill the shaker with ice.

  4. Cover the shaker with the lid and shake for a minute or so until very cold.

  5. Strain the shaken mixture into the chilled cocktail glass and garnish with the grapefruit peel.
